KCPE 2022 top performers can now be revealed. Otieno Lewis Omondi Glen and Fwaro Makokha Robinson are the best performers. Two scored the top mark of 341 out of the possible 500.
Glen is from St Peter’s Mumias Boys Primary School while Robinson is from Christ the King Primary School in Bungoma.
Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu had deviated from tradition by failing to announce the name of the candidate who took the top position.
In the exam, 39 candidates with special needs scored 400 and above marks. This was an improvement from the two candidates who scored 400 and above in the 2021 results.

9,443 candidates scored 400 marks and above. In the exams, 620,965 (50. 32%) were boys while 612,887 (49.67%) were girls.
