“As we navigate the evolving demands of the workforce, it is imperative for educational institutions, businesses, and policymakers to collaborate in shaping an agile and skilled workforce that can drive innovation and sustainable economic growth,” Africa Digital Media Institute Chief Executive Dr. Laila Macharia said.

This comes as the government lay in transformative reforms to revitalize the TVET sector in a bid to address labor market demands.

Speaking during the National TVET Conference at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu reiterated the importance of TVET institutions in instilling essential skills in young people to tackle youth unemployment.
