Citizen TV‘s local soap Maria has emerged as one of the most popular shows ever played on local television. The show is the product of Citizen Tv anchors Lulu Hassan and Rashid Abdalla, who are also a married couple. Now Lulu Hassan has addressed questions regarding the end and future of the trendy Maria Tv Show.
Lulu says that the show will not be ending anytime soon since the producers and scriptwriters have more twists and turns in store for their audience.
This is after one of the show’s top fans posed a question on whether the show was approaching its climax. the fan was instigated by the revelation that Maria (Yasmin Said) had found out that her father was murdered by William Hausa (character played by Daniel Musyoka).
The tv show has among others been exploring angles such as kidnappings and paternity issues.

In  2019, Lulu Hassan had disclosed that her husband and co-anchor, Rashid Abdalla is the head of their production company, Jiffy Pictures, and is also in charge of scripting.
She further revealed that they made in-depth research on how to produce the show before they ventured into auditioning for cast and locations.
