The late Colonel David Dobie, a veteran of World War 2, started D.T Dobie in 1949. The company started out with the Mercedes-Benz franchise for East Africa, which included both saloon cars and also heavy commercial vehicles. In 1964 our organisation was awarded the sole franchise distributorship of Nissan passenger and light commercial vehicles in Kenya. In 2001, through our franchise holding in DaimlerChrysler, we were awarded the Jeep franchise for Kenya. In 2007, we acquired the Renault brand for saloons and light commercial vehicles.

In Nairobi, the Express Service Centre located at our Lusaka road premises provides you the customer with quick quality service at a reasonable price. Other branches are at Westlands and Kisumu. We also have a Body shop located on Lusaka Road which provides high quality workmanship for your damaged vehicles. Over the last few years in keeping with worldwide technological advancements, our organisation has invested heavily in Hi-tech equipment and on-going training of our personnel.
