Parents of pupils at an academy in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu, are in shock after it emerged that their children sat fake KPSEA examinations.
The 23 children were students at Silver Bells Academy which is located in Eldoret. The learners were issued with photocopies of last year’s KPSEA examinations.
The examinations had failed to kick off at the school on Monday due to what the school administration had claimed as a misplacement of the examination materials.
Investigations into the school have further revealed that the instituion is not registered as an examination centre with the Kenya National Examinations Council.
Following these revelations, a team of police officers and examination officials from the Ministry of Education and the Kenya National Examinations Council stormes the school and arrested two directors.
