The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) portal has opened for the 2024 placements to universities and colleges.
According to an announcement that was made by KUCCPS on Thursday, all applications are to be made via the student’s portal student.kuccps.net.
“The wait is over! The KUCCPS portal is now open! It’s time to apply for your preferred course in an institution of your choice. Keep it here for updates,” KUCCPS said in a notice on its social media handle.
The application is open for 2024 placements for students who will be seeking to join Universities, Tvet institutions, Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), Teachers Training Colleges (TTC) and Open University of Kenya ( OUK).

These will include students whose Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results were released in January 2024.
Earlier in January, KUCCPS opened TVET applications for students who sat their KCSE between 2000 to 2022. These applicants were required to submit their applications by January 2024 to pave the way for placement.
Those who sat their KCSE in 2023 were also allowed to apply for TVET courses once the portal is open for applications. There were a total of 494,317 D+ who automatically qualified to join TVETs for certificates/diplomas of their choice.
