A girl from Kakamega County has penned a heartbreaking letter to her father. The girl scored 319 marks in the 2022 KCPE and has received a call up letter to a secondary school.
However, her father has refused to pay her fees. After begging him to educate her in vain, the girl resolved to write a letter to her dad in which she severed their father-daughter relationship.
In the letter, the girl who was identified as Masitsa narrated how her siblings had turned hostile towards her.
“I have come here for one last time. I was here before and you sent me away. No one wants to associate with me, including my own sisters who have been fighting me. My only wish was to go to school,” she said in the letter penned in Kiswahili.

“It seems I am causing you an inconvenience by asking to be taken to school. It is alright, I respect your decision as you are my father. However, you will never see me again in your lifetime. If my body is found, do not trouble yourselves burying it. And should we meet, please bypass me as you have never known me before. Goodbye,” she said.
