Mike Njenga: How I get more money from my side hustles than my Tv job

Former Citizen Tv Business News anchor Mike Njenga who now anchors news and political shows at Inooro Tv recently opened up on his multi-million side hustles and how they make him more money than his salary.

Given that Njenga has worked at the Royal Media Group’s premier shows and most popular brands, it is fair to say that Njenga’s salary is not a minute amount. He could easily be one of the best paid anchors. This implies that his side hustles could be raking in millions in revenue every month.

One of these is the Tipsy Lounge and Restaurant which is located in the upmarket Kileleshwa area.

Prior to the pandemic that has seen bars restricted in the number of hours they can sell, this spot was a hot attraction for business people, media celebrities and politicians.

The hotel is best known for its space, gardens, and private compartments for meetings.

Other than this business, though, Njenga has ventured into poultry farming and pig farming. His poultry and pig farms are located in Kiambu County.

It has also been reported that at one point, Mike Njenga has owned a dairy farm that could produce up to 200 litres of milk daily. These side businesses are run by his wife Phoebe to ensure that they don’t eat into his demanding media role.
