Transparency International has published its 2014 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI), which ranked 175 countries and territories based on how corrupt their administrative and political institutions are perceived to be on a scale from 0 (highly corrupt) to 100 (very clean).

Compiled from a combination of surveys and assessments of “the abuse of entrusted power for private gain,” the CPI is the most widely used indicator of corruption worldwide.

Here are the 25 most corrupt countries, according to the index.

Guess what number Kenya is…

In 2013 we were the 27th most corrupt country in the world, now we are 25th.

Keep it up guys, only 24 more slots left to number one.

What’s surprising is that there are other African countries more corrupt than Kenya.

The lowest ranked countries are perceived as “plagued by poor governance, and untrustworthy and badly functioning public institutions like police or media.”

As soon as you open your doors, you’re ready for business and start pushing forward. There’s one problem. What should be included? Here are some suggested topics.

• Communication: Do you prefer in-person, text, email or phone? Does this vary by situation? For example, in-person during the day but if it’s an emergency, text. Do you expect an immediate response if you send an email during the weekend or is next business day appropriate?

• Involvement in a project once initiated: Do you like regular updates or only at key milestones?

• Mannerisms: Do prefer quick hallway chats or long sit down conversations?

• Process information: Are you more of a cut to the chase person or do you like background and history?

• Feedback: Do you provide on-the-spot comments or at scheduled intervals? Are you open to receive feedback?

• Flextime: What’s your point-of-view on working in the office vs. working remotely?

• Team interactions: Are you more comfortable one-on-one or with groups?

Chris Hart: You’d never guess from the way people talk, but women cheat just as much as men. Only they’re way more subtle and tricky about it, and don’t get caught nearly so often. At rock bottom, guys cheat because faithful men have far fewer children than cold, heartless seducers.

So the genes that make men into cold, heartless seducers in the first place keep getting passed around. But that doesn’t work for women, because they have about the same number of children no matter what. So what does make women cheat? Or start relationships with married men?

Biologically, one reason is to avoid having all her eggs in one basket. Having a baby by another man spreads a woman’s genetic risks — so long as her husband never finds out. Another reason is that women want their children’s fathers to be winners!

Ask any woman: “Would you put up with a loser?” and the answer’s always “No!” But all that means is that there aren’t enough good men to go round — which is why so many rich guys have mistresses and girlfriends.

And then there are the emotional reasons why women cheat. Like she’s in a brand new relationship and really likes the guy, but he’s not quite ready to be exclusive? Really bad strategy, mate. Because while you’re wasting her time, she’ll wander. Or maybe you’re spending way too much time on other stuff?

So instead of the attention and romance she needs, she’s getting bored and frustrated. Believe me, if you aren’t having fun together, she’ll be finding it somewhere else.

Watch out

Perhaps you’re forever forgetting her birthday, anniversary or whatever? Or you spend more time with your mum, or at work, or with anyone else other than her? Watch out. Or she’ll soon be looking for someone who will put her first. Or maybe she feels your relationship isn’t going anywhere. Couples must keep growing closer or they drift apart. So start marking time, and she’ll soon start straying.

Perhaps you have way too much baggage? Psycho ex? Meddling mother? Weird friends? Whatever it is, there’s nothing more unattractive than a man with lots of baggage. Even if you’re spoiling her something rotten. The same is true if you’re not delivering the loving she needs. Or you’re always fighting. Or you’re heavy with her.

Because often as not, today’s independent woman has a guy she can call on. He knows she’s in a relationship, but he’s always available anytime you aren’t acting right.

Or you’ve cheated on her. Even though she’s taken you back, don’t think you’re in the clear. She’ll smile and act like everything’s normal, but behind that smile lies a broken heart plotting revenge. So don’t be too sure that your lady would never ever cheat on you. She really might. In fact she’ll only stay faithful while you play your cards right.

BuzzKenya just released a list of the hardest courses to pursue in Kenya.

This why I am sceptical about it.

1. What was the methodology behind it? Apparently, it wasn’t indicated.

2. I happen to be in my final year in Economics and Statistics, it’s not that hard. It’s definitely easier than every engineering course out there.

5. Economics And Statistics:

Surprisingly, this is one of the hardest courses to study in Kenya. It consists of huge computations including calculus, financial accounting, economics statistics, mathematics for economics, and other theoretical courses. The most striking thing here is that people are most-likely to underrate economics. It is good you know that taking on this course could be more challenging than anything else.

4. Medicine And Surgery:

As may be expected, medicine and surgery require great study, sacrifice, and absolute effort to get through. In terms of content, it is like learning four different languages all at once. It is a long process that will surely make study take precedence over your social life. Of course that could tell why most doctors make the most out of the little time they have for social activities.

3. Telecommunication and Information Engineering:

This is one of the hardest courses you can study in Kenya. It takes a longer time, and also demands absolute diligence and handwork. In Kenya Telecommunication and Information engineering is ranked one of the most challenging courses only the bright students take on. You have to pass through extremely large number of tough courses. If you hardly read,
going for this course may be unfavourable.

2. Pharmacy:

Just like medicine and surgery, it takes six to eight years pharmacist education program to become a pharmacist in Kenya. You have to deal with pharmaceutical science in the first four years and clinical afterwards. Pharmacy requires huge dedication and hundred percent effort. It is hard knowing you can’t just skip lectures for any reason. You must study assiduously or be embarrassed in exams.

1. Aeronautical engineering:

Succeeding in achieving the minimum entry requirements will not guarantee you an offer of a place to study aeronautical engineering in Kenya. Aeronautical Engineering comprises the representation, creation, maintenance and discarding of aircraft, aeronautical products, equipment, systems and associated services used in the aviation
industry.
