Comedian Prof Hamo fired from Royal Media’s Hot 96

Prof Hamo Hot 96: Popular comedian and morning presenter Prof. Hamo has been fired from Royal Media Group’s Hot 96 FM. An insider at the station was quoted saying that presenter was fired following his child support drama with fellow comedian Jemutai.

“He was relieved of his duties after the scandal with Stella Bunei Koitie (Jemutai Chibambe) emerged… Hamo no longer works for the station. We, however, wish him the best in all his endeavours,” the source was quoted.

A related report in the media further claimed that the comedian had stepped on the toes of his boss. His child support drama only added fuel to the embers.

Prof Hamo has been in the eye of the storm since his former lover Jemutai went publicly begging for food and rent. The comedian had said that she has no job or income and that Hamo, the father of her kids, had reportedly ditched her and the kids.

“I have been a full-time single mum from 2020, kids dad and I were staying together since 2018 and he walked out of our home last year. I have two kids, one is turning five years and the other is one year and six months old,” she said on Friday, April 30.
