Safaricom and Kenya Railway Golf Club’s Samuel Njoroge won the sixth leg of the Professional Golfers of Kenya (PGK) Equator Tour in Diani. Njoroge carded a 70, two-under-par, to claim the title at the scenic Diamonds Leisure Golf Resort.
At close second was Dismas Indiza, the fifth leg champion, who played one-under-par. He was closely followed by David Wakhu, Greg Snow and CJ Wangai, who all placed solo third, fourth and fifth respectively.
“I played here last month, and coming back for this round, I knew I had to completely rethink my game plan. I made the adjustments, and I am glad it paid off. I am really pleased with today’s result. This was a personal goal I had set for myself after finishing second in the fifth leg in Nakuru. The win is a big motivation, to keep me going and do even better in the coming tournaments.” Said Samuel Njoroge
