What salary and allowances do Supreme Court judges earn?
According to the Salaries and Remuneration Commission, a Supreme Court judge earns a monthly pay of Sh. 1.218 million.
Previously, a Supreme Court judge used to earn Sh. 757,770 in basic salary. This pay was then boosted by allowances and benefits that raised the total monthly pay to Sh.1,082,528. This meant that the allowances for the position of a regular Supreme Court judge could be equivalent to over Sh. 324,758.
