A Kenyan man popularly known as Ugali Man has been awarded Sh. 5 million and a brand new car for his ugali eating skills. This astonishing fete follows an endorsement that the man received from betting firm Odi Bets. “My first advertisement video with Odibets…. Power iko,” Odongo said after he was named Odi Bet’s brand ambassador.

Ugali Man, whose real name is Charles Odongo, hails from Ongata Rongai. He previously worked as a gym instructor. He has also been provided with a fully-furnished gymnasium. “My dad was a boxer and a fitness guy. I followed in his footsteps and I am proud of the far I have come with this betting company that has held my hand since day one,” he said.

His way of eating ugali has gone viral in Kenya and Africa, and drawn reactions from all manner of people. One of the most prominent reactions came from singer Diamond Platnumz. “I love creativity behind this AD…,” Diamond said on Odongo’s ugali eating theatrics.
