Kenya Forestry Research Institute (KEFRI) is a State Corporation established in 1986 with obligation to undertake forest research, generate and promote improved technologies for sustainable management, conservation and development of forest and allied natural resources.

The Institute wishes to recruit a dynamic, result-oriented and self driven person to fill the vacant position below:

Communication and Public Relations Officer

Responsibilities
Prepare and edit the Institute’s newsletter.
Prepare media features and supplements.
Identify for a for publicity.
Creating awareness to the public on the Institute activities, services and products.
Consulting with scientists to arrange promotional campaigns on Institute technologies.
Dissemination of information to stakeholders through publications and website and social Media.

Qualifications For Communication and Public Relations Officer Jobs In Kenya
At least three (3) years in the grade of Communications and Public Relations Officer II or in a comparable position.
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) minimum grade “C plain” or its equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree in communication studies/ Public Relations or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognised institution.
