The biggest jackpot in kenya’s history has been won. The SportPesa jackpot of Ksh. 230.7 million was won by Gordon Ogada Paul who correctly predicted17 matches.
SportPesa announced on Tuesday that they had a new winner of the Mega Jackpot worth Sh230,742,881.
“We are proud to announce that the #SportPesaMegaJackpot worth KShs 230,742,881/= has been WON! It is the BIGGEST amount ever in Kenya!!! We have a winner! More to be revealed in the coming moments!” read a tweet on the company’s official Twitter handle. “The amount has now been reset to Sh100,000,000,” the firm said in a statement on Tuesday.
The betting firm will hold a press conference on Wednesday, with Ogada, directors and past winner Samuel Abisai in attendance.
Abisai, who won the Sh221 million SportPesa jackpot in May last year, was treated to a Limousine ride from his home along Thika Road and a red carpet ceremony at Carnivore Restaurant.
The company usually provides financial advisers should winners agree to it.
