Once the app is downloaded, users have the option to sign up as members and begin paying their premiums with three payment plans to choose from.

The lowest premium payable is Sh6,000 and covers the motorist’s up to a maximum of Sh30,000 while the highest is Sh25,000 earning members a cover of up to Sh100,000. The other premium package involves paying Sh13,000 and getting a cover of up to Sh50,000.

All the insurance covers are extended to the subscriber for a year. Motorists within Nairobi, Kiambu and Nakuru can enjoy the services offered 24 hours after paying their premiums. Currently, the cover mainly targets private cars and not the PSVs. To facilitate the bail-out missions the company has a rescue team consisting of eight riders spread across the three towns.

“When a member is arrested the riders rush to their rescue. As a company, we also provide a lawyer in case a member needs one,” adds the father of one.
