GrowthAfrica has launched its call for applications for the GrowthAfrica 2022 Accelerator Programme.
The programme is designed to support entrepreneurs to analyse their businesses and design appropriate strategies to support the growth of their ventures. This support included connecting the entrepreneurs to strategic resources such as experts, mentors, and investors.
Through this program, business owners will also get linkages to markets in order to upscale their ventures.
“Over the last 20 years, GrowthAfrica has been supporting entrepreneurs to grow their ventures into successful and impactful enterprises across Africa,”
GrowthAfrica said in a statement to Bizna Kenya.
“We are now seeking to broaden our scope by enlisting more businesses within the medium enterprises categories.”
Some of the Kenyan ventures that have benefited from the GrowthAfrica program include Black Rhino VR, Jbeejura Designz, Onesha Technologies, Taste Afrique, Merican Limited, The Children’s House, Tuuti’s Ventures, Genteel, BU.KE Brands Ltd.
According to GrowthAfrica, when you apply, you will get up to six months of expert consultations, and access to business analysis tools and resources to help you identify challenges and opportunities for the growth of your business.
In addition, you will get support in the development of goals, growth strategy and a growth plan on how to scale and access capital. You will also get in-depth analysis with specific strategic interventions to support your growth plan.
Who should apply?
To apply, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Have a legally registered for-profit business
- Post-revenue with an annual turnover of over Sh. 5 million.
- Has been operational for 3 years
- Have at least 2 co-founders and dedicated full-time team of 5 members

- Healthcare, water and sanitation
- Agribusiness and Agritech
- Clean technology, energy, climate change and circularity – Retail/commerce, transport and logistics
