Victoria Rubadiri quits NTV days after Larry Madowo’s exit

Nation Media Group’s NTV has lost another top ranking presenter. This is after NTV’s Victoria Rubadiri quit the station.

It is being reported that she is set top join NTV’s rival, Citizen TV. This is the latest in a series of top ranking departures that have rocked the media giant.

It comes in the wake of departures by Larry Madowo who was the ex host of the popular The Trend Show and Linus Kaikai who was a top manager at the station.

“Rubadiri could be Lilian Muli’s replacement at the station as she heads for maternity leave,” a report says.

Victoria holds a bachelors from Temple University, USA, and did Public Relations jobs in New Jersey and New York before moving back to Kenya after emigrating with her family while 10 years old.

The move will re-unite her with her former boss Linus Kaikai who has been appointed as the Director of Strategy and Innovation.

In the new roster rolled out by RMS, former KTN’s Managing Editor Joe Ageyo is the new Editorial Director while Fred Afune is the new Director of radio and technical services. Former NTV news anchor Jamila Mohammed is the new Managing Editor.

Ms. Rubadiri is considered one of the finest news anchors in the country, especially due to her fine command of the Queen’s Language.

She was a long time co-host of Larry Madowo.
