Fire has razed down Gikomba market in Nairobi. The Friday morning inferno destroyed property worth millions but efforts are ongoing to contain the situation.
In 2015, an estimated 10,000 traders in the popular market lost goods worth millions of shillings after an early morning fire burnt hundreds of business premises, including a local Family Bank branch.
The cause of the current fire is yet to be establish.
About month ago, another fire incident was reported at the same market.
